Located on a quiet tree-lined street with a bike path, right next to some of Montreal's famous landmarks: Olympic Stadium, the Biodome, and Botanical Gardens. The place is fully furnished and has a Washer/Dryer, unlimited download high speed WiFi, TV with Netflix, fully furnished kitchen, coffee and towels provided. The Space: This brightly decorated apartment boasts 2 closed bedrooms with a quality futon in the living room. The kitchen, with its adjoining balcony, looks onto the mast of the Stadium. Gorgeous when it lights up at night! It is conveniently located a block away from Pie IX metro station on the green line. Guest Access: We provide towels, coffee, tea, cooking basics (oil, S&P), bedding (for the beds and futon). The apartment has a washer/dryer; we provide detergent. In the summertime, a clothesline is also available. You have access to all the apartment, the back balcony, as well as a large backyard. Interaction with Guests: We live downstairs and are always available for our guests. If you need suggestions for things to do on your trip, don't hesitate to ask! The Neighborhood: Lots of activities on l'Esplanade Olympique, and the apartment is next to the Olympic Stadium, Botanical Gardens, Biodome, Insectarium, and Planetarium. Lots to do and see! There is a convenience store on the same block providing basic groceries (milk, bread, eggs, cold cut meats, cheese, canned food, etc...). Two blocks away there is a large grocery store, pharmacy, and several trendy restaurants. Also close by is Maisoneuve Market, where you can find small market shops and fresh foods. Getting Around: Best way to get around is by Metro; we are a block away from station Pie IX on the green line which will take you downtown in about 15-20 minutes. A quick transfer to the orange line and you're in the Old Port in about 20 minutes Fare is 3.25$ for one trip ($6 for two trips), or 15$ for a 3 day pass. For summertime, there is a Bixie stand next door, and a bike path right on our street.
