The Neighborhood: Lots of activities on l'Esplanade Olympique, and the apartment is next to the Olympic Stadium, Botanical Gardens, Biodome, Insectarium, and Planetarium. Lots to do and see! There is a convenience store on the same block providing basic groceries (milk, bread, eggs, cold cut meats, cheese, canned food, etc...). Two blocks away there is a large grocery store, pharmacy, and several trendy restaurants. Also close by is Maisoneuve Market, where you can find small market shops and fresh foods. Getting Around: Best way to get around is by Metro; we are a block away from station Pie IX on the green line which will take you downtown in about 15-20 minutes. A quick transfer to the orange line and you're in the Old Port in about 20 minutes Fare is 3.25$ for one trip ($6 for two trips), or 15$ for a 3 day pass. For summertime, there is a Bixie stand next door, and a bike path right on our street.
